QOD: How long is too long? And Why do people own guns?
Obviously, it's been too long since my last post - but I've been busy. Sorry for the delay - I promise to ask those burning questions more frequently. On to the hot topic - why do people own guns? Straight up - to protect themselves. I know, there are a myriad of reasons, for sport, for hunting, I'm a collector - but in reality - it's a right and a necessity in some instances....
Read this - and decide for yourself. Is it an emotional issue - ABSOLUTELY. But let's not cloud the facts. This blog post points out some of the silliness that is spouted under the sub-title 'Guns Don't Kill People, Demographics Kil People'. I think the 1% of crazies in this world are the evil force at work. Guns are tools - and I don't get emotional about stuff like that. Recommended reading: Freakonomics - a very interesting POV.
Next time, I promise something a little lighter and more trivial like - is Suri Cruise actually a little person in toddler clothes? Check out her look - she's unlike any young child I've ever seen - with that head of hair, she looked 25 at 3 months! LOL!
