I was the casualty of a short runway last week - when my national sales position selling mobile SMS Text advertising for a mobile question and answer service was eliminated. It's hard to understand how in a short eleven weeks, that was the outcome, but it is what it is. I am grateful for the opportunity to expand my media sales skills into a hot topic. But now, the reality is, I need a job and thus I am open to the conversation.
I am posting a summary of my CV/resume up on my blog for the world to see, along with a link to my profile on LinkedIn. I am also trying a new social experiment using Twitter (@EmilyQuestions) to see if that sphere of influence and my network's network is useful to help make meaningful contacts. I recognize that it really is up to me to do the work - and believe, me, I am already hitting the bricks and cranking up my own personal network.
